Öykü Tüz, who organizes art- and play-based workshops for children and adolescents under the name State Studio, is the data controller within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”).

2. Personal Data Processed
The following personal data may be processed within the scope of our website and workshop processes:
2.1. Through the website contact form:
Identity information: name, surname
Contact information: e-mail address
Message content: free-text content submitted through the form
2.2. Within the scope of the initial consultation and workshop participation:
Identity information of the child/adolescent: name, surname, date of birth/age
Identity and contact information of the parent/legal guardian: name, surname, phone number, e-mail address
Health information — limited: information shared regarding workshop suitability, such as allergies, medication use, or previous psychological/psychiatric support
Observation and process notes: notes taken by the facilitator during the workshop regarding the child’s/adolescent’s forms of expression, development within the process, and notable patterns
Visual records: photographs and/or video recordings taken during the workshop, subject to separate explicit consent
Records of produced work: photographs of the work created by the child during the workshop,
subject to separate explicit consent
3. Purposes of Processing Personal Data
The collected personal data is processed for the following purposes:
Responding to requests submitted through the website and maintaining communication
Conducting the initial consultation and assessing suitability for the workshop
Planning, carrying out, and evaluating the workshop process
Sharing general feedback with the family regarding the process
Evaluating the workshop process within the scope of clinical psychology supervision, only with the supervisor and by concealing the identity of the child/adolescent
Documenting workshop practices in the internal archive
Sharing workshop processes on social media accounts and promotional materials, only if explicit consent has been given
Fulfilling legal obligations
4. Legal Grounds for Processing Personal Data
Your personal data is processed based on the following legal grounds under Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK:
Explicit consent, particularly for visual records and social media sharing
Necessity for the establishment or performance of a contract, in relation to workshop participation
Legitimate interest of the data controller, such as internal archiving and evaluation of service quality
Fulfillment of legal obligations
5. Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data is not shared with third parties unless clearly necessary. The following limited situations are exceptions:
Clinical supervision: Observation and process notes related to the workshops may be shared with an expert psychologist supervisor in order to ensure professional competence and ethical responsibility. During this sharing, the identity of the child/adolescent is concealed or the child/adolescent is referred to only by a pseudonym.
Legal obligation: In the event of lawful requests by authorized public institutions, data may be shared within the framework of the relevant legislation.
Service providers: Within the scope of the website infrastructure, Wix.com Ltd. may process data in accordance with its own policies. These service providers may be located abroad.
If a situation is identified in which the child/adolescent may need individual psychological support outside the workshop, the family will be referred accordingly. In such cases, no data will be transferred to a third-party specialist without the family’s consent.
6. Retention Period of Personal Data
Data submitted through the contact form: maximum 2 years
Workshop participation records, including identity and contact information: 5 years from the end of the workshop process
Observation and process notes: 5 years from the end of the workshop process, in accordance with professional ethical standards
Visual records: within the period covered by explicit consent; deleted immediately if consent is withdrawn
7. Rights of the Data Subject
Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, data subjects, or the legal representative of the child, have the following rights:
To learn whether their personal data has been processed
To request information if their personal data has been processed
To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data has been used in accordance with that purpose
To know the third parties to whom personal data has been transferred, whether domestically or abroad
To request correction if the data has been processed incompletely or inaccurately
To request the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK
To request that correction, deletion, or destruction operations be notified to third parties to whom the data has been transferred
To object to any unfavorable outcome resulting from analysis carried out exclusively through automated systems
To request compensation for damages in the event of loss caused by unlawful processing of personal data
